Saint Bartholomeus' Cathedral, a Gothic building is one of the sites which you can visit. Deutsches Architektur Museum (German Architecture Museum), Deutsches Filmmuseum (German Film Museum), Stadel-Museum, Museum Giersch (Museum of Regional Historic Art and Culture) and Museum für Angewandte Kunst (Museum of Applied Arts) are some of the numerous museums in Frankfurt. The city hosts international trade fairs in spring and autumn, which bring many visitors to the city. The Goethe House, the birth place of Germany's greatest writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is worth exploring. The Römer happens to be another attraction, which is an interconnected trio of medieval patrician's houses. It functioned as the city hall of Frankfurt as early as 1405.


If you are a shopaholic then CenterFressgass Shopping Center, Goethestrasse Shopping Center and the Leipziger Strasse / Schweizer Strasse Shopping Center are the places you can shop till you drop. Rheingau-Music-Festival is one of the many festivals, fairs and carnivals hosted here. It is hosted at castles, under the open sky surrounded by vineyardsn and that is what makes it interesting and a class apart.

FIFA World Cup Stadium one of the venues for the 2006 FIFA Cup is another crowd puller. The special feature of this stadium is the minimalist supporting structure that combines with a flood of natural light through the translucent roof. This provides a soaring, cathedral-like atmosphere. The total seating capacity of this magnificent stadium is 43,324.
