Austria Germany is a small country but its role in the molding of the past and present of Europe can never be overlooked. Located in Central Europe, Austria Germany, is divided into nine different states. The birth of Austria Germany can be traced back to the 9th Century. The name Ostarrichi can be found in a document as old as 996.Once the center of the great Austria-Hungarian power, Austria as come a long way in its historical journey and after a lot of Political and Military turmoil, in 1955 Austria Germany became a part of the European Union. Today it is the 'Republik of Osterreich' which when translated to English means “Eastern realm or empire”.

Austria Germany is a land locked region with the mighty Alps dominating most of its demography. Austria has a very strategic location and is easily commutable through the passes in the Alps. The area enjoys a perfectly Alpine climate. Most of Austria experiences a cool temperate climate zone. The winters are cool and cloudy and rain is common while the summers are moderate and rain is occasional.

Austria Germany, in general has a high living standard. Austria has also been a part of the global spree of privatization and therefore all the large industries which were earlier nationalized are now passing on to private hands. From the historical times Austria has traded with Germany any therefore naturally had to keep complementing the latter's economic development .However, with Austria,Germany's entry into the European Union(EU) its proximity to the other powers have also increased, while her dependence on Germany has compareably decreased. Membership in the EU has also assured a steady flow of foreign investors.

Communication is quite swift in Austria. The Osterreichische Buundesbahnen is the national railway system which assures you of easy connectivity. Although Austria, Hungary is bound by land on all sides there are ports like Enns, Krems, Linz, Vien all of which which open into the Danube river. Apart from these Austria Germany has one heliport and around 55 airport.

Austria Germany is also culturally sound. The birth place of Salzburg and Mozart, the rich heritage of Austria is reflected in every sphere of its life. They also have a number of festivals. The most unique among them, perhaps,is the Perchtenlaufen. The specialty of this festival is the street processions where the men walk wearing either heavy ornamental headdress or they dress as women.
