The Wilhelmshohe Park is basically an upland forest park that is the only one of its kind in the entire European continent.
The waterfalls at the Wilhelmshohe Park flow down from a large castle which is placed on the upper regions of the park. The castle that is situated on the upper hills of the Wilhelmshohe Park is known as the Wilhelmshohe Palace and is also one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the land of Germany. In the beginning, the Wilhelmshohe Park was supposed to be a baroque garden that has a harmonious blend of the picturesque landscapes and the majestic architecture of its time.
The huge castle of the Wilhelmshohe Park if one of its special features, with the pyramid shaped tower above the castle. The Hercules Statue Germany is placed right above the pyramid on the castle top. The Hercules Statue is cast in bronze and attracts a large number of tourists from all over the globe. There is also a splendid collection of some of the ancient masterpieces in the gallery, which is located inside the Wilhelmshohe Palace containing the Statue of Hercules.
