Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universitat (Senckenberganlage 31, 60325 Frankfurt am Main. Ph: (0) 69 7981): This is one of the biggest universities in Germany imparting education to around 40, 000 students. Established in 1914, it is also one of the most famous in the country. It offers education on a broad spectrum of subjects such as Law, Economics and Business Administration, Social Sciences, Educational Sciences, Psychology and Sports Sciences, Protestant Theology, Roman Catholic Theology, Philosophy and History, Linguistics, Cultural and Civilization Studies, Art Studies, Modern Languages, Geosciences and Geography, Computer Science and Mathematics, Physics, Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacy, Life Sciences and Medical Science. . The Career Center of the University helps them achieve a job of their choice soon after the completion of the course. University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt am Main (Nibelungenplatz 1, 60318 Frankfurt am Main. Ph: (0) 69 15330): It is one of the leading universities for applied sciences in Germany. It offers academic education with practical orientation in 30 courses in four faculties such as architecture and civil engineering, computer science and engineering, business and law, social work and health. The 650 full time and part time faculty members with professional experience guides the students in their various projects. Around 9000 students from 100 countries have the option of spending one semester abroad at any one of the 60 international partner universities. The working people can also join for advanced courses that include part time and post graduate courses.

Adult Education Center (Volkshochschule Frankfurt am Main (VHS), Sonnemannstraße 13, 60314 Frankfurt am Main. Ph: (0) 69 212 71501): This largest adult education center in Hesse provides wide range of courses to its students by dividing it into six thematic areas such as society, culture, health, languages, job and special. Besides English, French, Spanish and Italian, it also offers nearly 30 other languages. The various health courses include relaxation techniques, cookery courses to sports like swimming, gymnastics, fitness, etc. It has around 140 employees and 1,200 course instructors. It conducts 4,500 events with almost 50,000 participants every year. It also directs its range of courses to organizations and companies and conducts in-house seminars.

Business School of Finance & Management (Sonnemannstrasse 9-11, 60314, Frankfurt am Main Ph: 69-154008-186): As a leading university for finance and management in the country, the school offers a wide spectrum of Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programs such as Master of Banking, Master of Finance, Master of Quantitative Finance besides a 18 month MBA in International Hospital Management program offered in collaboration with the Nations Health Career School of Management. There are also many courses, which are offered in German such as Master of Accounting & Taxation, Master of Insurance and Master of Mergers & Acquisitions. It is the only one of the top ten universities in Germany with 22 professors and more than 50 visiting lecturers.
