Frankfurt Book Fair: The city is a venue to more than 50 trade fairs of which Frankfurt Book Fair is the one of the world’s largest. Frankfurt Fair and exhibition center is one of the world’s largest trade fair venues in the world. The world famous Book Fair runs for five days and exhibits books, comics, magazines, newspapers, maps, calendars and art. More than 7,200 individual exhibitors from 101 countries reach here every October to present their products to around 280,000 visitors. Many cultural events and specialist information events accompany this extensive exhibition. Having the third largest exhibition grounds in the world, the city has kept aside 476,000 square meters for the various exhibitions, of which 324,000 square meters are in the multifunctional halls and another 83,000 square meters are outdoors.
Frankfurt Motor Show (Automechanika): It is the international flagship trade fair for vehicle parts and accessories. The exhibition that takes place every two years in autumn welcomes over 4,500 exhibitors from 72 countries who exhibit their wares to around 254,300 visitors. Around 91% of the visitors are from the international trade and industry. It is the most comprehensive show for the automobile industry. It serves as a platform for the developers, manufacturers and users of commercial vehicles to display their products. The exhibition covers a space of 220,000 sq meters. The event organized by Verband der Automobilindustrie (VBA) hold the exhibitions of different types of commercial as well as passenger vehicles and its parts and accessories. It is important for the exhibitor to have a clear idea about the stand rental charges, stand application, exhibits, certificate by the manufacturer, exhibition conditions etc. The permitted exhibits include trucks, truck tractor, light commercial vehicles, buses, minibuses, special motor vehicles like ambulances, municipal vehicles, fire fighting vehicles, towing vehicles, motor caravans, parts and accessories of all these vehicles and model cars.
Ambiente Frankfurt: This is the international trade fair for "dining, living and giving". The fair conducted in an area of over 190,000 sq meters draws in more than 4,500 exhibitors who showcase interior decorations, tableware, gift items, furnishings and other accessories for individualizing living spaces. This five-day fair held in February attracts some 140,000 visitors from around 90 countries. Like other fairs, online tickets are available for Ambiente. This largest consumer goods fair focuses on the fascinating world of table, kitchen, household items, creative world of gift ideas, home furnishings and decorations. The wide range of standard products under display include glass, porcelain, ceramics, cutlery, kitchen and household articles. High-quality small electrical appliances can also be found here. The gift ideas presented include vivid emotions and exciting themes for a successful product assortment, gifts and decorations, classic and contemporary designs, enchanting jewellery, valuable collectors’ items, traditional handicrafts and original products. The multifaceted range of products such as Country Home, Outdoor Living, Loft, Kids World, Bel Etage, Gallery and Passage Home are also displayed in this fair. Besides this, Ambiente is planning to exhibit attractive products for pre-school children such as the furnishing needs of the youngest members of the families like furniture, lighting, towels, bathrobes and toys.
