Also known as ECB, it is the central bank for the Euro, the single currency of the Member States of the European Union since January 1999. The bank was established as the core of the Eurosystem and the European System of Central Banks. The bank mainly maintains the price stability of Euro and is also responsible for performing all duties of a central bank. It employs around 1,350 people from all over the 25 EU countries.
Duetsche Bundesbank (Postfach 10 06 02, D - 60006 Frankfurt am Main): Established in 1957, it is the central bank of the Federal Republic of
Germany. Having its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, the bank is a part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). Apart from the headquarters, it has nine regional offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Mainz, Munich and Stuttgart. The Frankfurt branch employs around 3,909 staff. The bank carries out business with the credit institutions and public authorities in the respective areas. It is also responsible for fulfilling the monetary task of the Eurosystem.

banks in Germany. With more than 50 years of experience, it is regarded as one of the ten biggest banks in Germany having a balance sheet of EUR 341 billion.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) (Rahmhofstrasse 2, 60313 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. There is a European Representative Office (ERO) responsible for enhancing public awareness about the role and activities of ADB. World Bank Group: This group has five closely associated institutions that play a major role to fight poverty and improve the living standards of the people. The World Bank Group includes IBRD (International Bank for Reconstruction and Development), IDA (International Development Association), IFC (International Finance Corporation), MIGA (Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency) and ICSID (International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes). The IBRD was established in 1945, IDA in 1960, IFC in 1956, MIGA in 1988 and ICSID in 1966. The World Bank Group institutions are run by a Board of 24 Executive Directors each representing one country. The German office of IFC, one of its institutions has its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main.
