Scott Andrew Speed

S Speed or Scott Andrew Speed is one of the major Formula One drivers who have appeared on the world stage in the recent times. He is regarded as one of the most

talented Formula One drivers of the recent times. He hails from the city of Manteca in the state of California in the United States of America. Speed had an early start to his Formula One career. This was preceded by his career in the field of Karting which he had started at the age of ten. His Formula series experience commenced on a high note at the US Formula Russell in 2001 where he became the champion.

The Grand Prix career for Speed unfolded at the Canadian Grand Prix in 2005 where he was the test driver for the Red Bull Racing. The 2006 season was memorable for Speed and he was chosen as the driver for the Red Bull Racing along with Vitantonio Liuzzi. However, even after 25 races, he is yet to make a mark in the Formula One circuit. During the 2007 season, he was ranked 17th among the Formula One drivers. He is currently in the Toro Rosso Formula One team.

Scott Speed is believed by a number of sports critics to have immense potential though he is yet to deliver well at the highest level. However, it is expected that this young driver will learn from experience to transform himself into a major force in the Formula One circuit.
