Barcelona, the capital of Spain, is the most important city of the country. According to the 2006 census, the city of Barcelona has a population of 1,605,602 people. The city is exactly located at the intersection of North and East. Being the second largest city of Spain, Barcelona attracts a great number of tourists all round the year.
