Italian Grand Prix 2008 will be held at the Autodromo Nazionale Circuit in Monza. The circuit was built in 1922 and is one among the oldest racing tracks. The circuit is built on the outskirts of Milan and is one of the fastest circuits where the competition takes place. The course is a long one with occasional barriers and speed corners. The track also has a historical value since it was used during World War II as a base camp of the military troops. It suffered heavy damage during that time and was again reconstructed in 1948. From there on, the track has been used several times for the purpose of race. There are 53 laps on the track.
Italian Grand Prix 2008 Race Calendar
The final race will take place on the 14th of September from 14:00 hours. However, before that the racers will have to qualify for the race and for that they have practice sessions. The timings of the practice sessions are:
- On 12th September the practice session will begin at 10 in the morning and will continue till 11:30 in the first half and in the second half it begins at 14:00 in the afternoon and will continue till 15:30 in the afternoon.
- On the 13th of September the second session of the race will take place at 11:00 – 12:00 and the qualifying race will take place at 14:00 hours which will decide whether the racer is likely to tale part in the competition or not.
Tickets of Formula One Italian Grand Prix
Tickets of the race are available from the counter at the venue. The prices of the tickets range between £419 to £70. The viewing areas differ according to the prices. The races are held normally at the weekends. There are grandstands, televisions and reserved seats on the galleries, which are expensive, and there is one general gallery that is devoid of any facilities. Three-day tickets are already available from 30th May onwards and one-day tickets will be available from 1st August. There are no separate child tickets available from this race course. Interested people can collect tickets from 31st Jan.
