ING Belgian Grand Prix 2008









The ING Belgian Grand Prix 2008 is an international motor racing event that will be held at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps located at the Spa in Belgium. It comprises the thirteenth race in the F1 Grand Prix events calendar of 2008. The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, was built in the 1920's.
It was originally used for motorcycling. The Spa- Francorchamps, is famous for its irregular climatic conditions. Often, F1 drivers have to encounter a race track that is partly smooth and firm and partly slimy. The length of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is 7.004 km, while the race distance is 308.176 km. The circuit has 44 laps and the fastest lap was scored by Felipe Massa. The majority of wins on this track has been scored by Michael Schumacher.

Grand Prix Schedule Timings


Official sources have announced that the race will be held on the 7th of September (Sunday) 2008. It will be preceded by the usual practice sessions and the qualifying rounds.

Grand Prix Ticket Booking


The costs of tickets vary from £105 to £356. The prices are related to the viewing area that one chooses (There are three categories – the Gold, Silver and Bronze). The General Admission tickets are available only under the Bronze category. Weekend ticket holders are entitled to a free afternoon pit walk available only on Thursday. Child tickets are being sold under the season tickets category. Children aged below 5 are being allowed a free entry under the General Admission Category.
