ING Australian Grand Prix 2008, dated to be held from 14th March. Melbourne plays the host of this very important race, the 24th one in the Australian Grand Prix's history.

The sports loving city of Melbourne, Australia is the venue for

Melbourne Grand Prix circuit is 5.303 Kilometers. Located in the Albert Park area of the city, a capacity crowd of 80,000 can watch the race from the stands.

2008 Grand Prix Schedule
The 2008 Australian Grand Prix takes off on Friday, 14th March. The day is reserved for a couple of practice sessions. The timings are 10.00 A.M. To 11.30 A.M and 2.00 P.M to 3.30 P.M. Another practice session is scheduled on the second day - Saturday, 15th March, at 11.00, followed by the qualifying race starting at 2.00 P.M. The final race is slated for Sunday, 16th March. The race flags off at sharp 3.30 P.M.
2008 Grand Prix Tickets
With the 2008 Australian Grand Prix knocking at the door, ticket rates have already been fixed. A four day pass, including the inauguration day will cost between 96.98 £ to 364.06 £ for an adult and 54.46 £ for the kids. Sunday Passes will cost 55.21 £ for an adult and 38.79 £ for a child.

Australian Grand Prix held on 16th March, 2008. The
McLaren's driver led the race from the start. He accumulated 10 points from his win. Nick Heidfeld (BMW) and Nico Rosberg (William-Toyota) finished in the second and third position winning 8 and 6 points respectively.
