The
Grand Prix de Monaco 2008 is one of the most prestigious motor racing events in the 2008 sports calendar. It constitutes the sixth round of the F1 season of 2008. The race will take place at the Circuit de Monaco, situated in Monte Carlo. The city streets of La Condamine and Monte Carlo fall under the purview of Circuit de Monaco. The racing track has many narrow corners, hairpin bends and changes in level. It is thus, a challenging track for F1 drivers and brings in focus the driving skills of the F1 racer. The length of the track (Circuit de Monaco) is 3.340 km. and the race distance is 260.520 km. The circuit course has 78 laps, the fastest being scored by Michael Schumacher in 2004.

Booking Tickets
Tickets range from £ 34 to £ 377, according to the viewing area. Tickets under the general admissions category have been sold out. Monaco does not sell season tickets. Only individual tickets for each day are available. No racing tickets are sold on Friday, as it is no-race-day. There are no provisions for child tickets.

Lewis Hamilton of the
McLaren-Mercedes team won the Monaco Grand Prix that was held on
25 May, 2008. He completed the required 76 laps in 2 hours and 42.742 seconds. Robert Kubica came second representing BMW Sauber. Brazilian Felipe Massa, showing flashes of his formidable form of the season, finished third for Ferrari.
