Brazilian Grand Prix 2008



Brazilian Grand Prix 2008 will take place in Sao Paulo at Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace. This racing circuit has a total length of 4.309 kilometers. Kimi Raikkonen was the winner of 2007 Brazilian Grand Prix.

Brazilian Grand Prix 2008, also known as Grande Premio do Brasil 2008, is scheduled between 31st October and 2nd November. It is the last race of the event of 2008 F1 Grand Prix series that will take place at Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Sao Paulo on 2nd November 2008.

Sao Paulo circuit is one of the few circuits to have an anti-clockwise direction. Formula one 2008 circuit has a total length of about 4.309 kilometers and 71 laps. The race distance of this circuit is about 305.909 kilometers. The initial design of the circuit was based on Roosevelt Field's racing tract, which is situated in New York. The first races of this tract were held in 1971 and 1972. These races were non-championship events.

2007 Brazilian Grand Prix was won by Kimi Raikkonen, who represented the Ferrari team and had secured a third place in the drivers' championship. Lewis Hamilton had a good start in the Brazilian Grand Prix of 2007; but Raikkonen defeated him in the final race, where he secured a 7th position.
