2008 Formula One

The 2008 Formula One is the 59th season of the pulsating Motor Racing World Championships, which started in 1950.

Motor racing fans across the world are waiting eagerly for the curtain raiser of 2008 Formula One. The 2008 Formula One season is going to commence on the 16th of March at the Australian Grand Prix, Melbourne. 2008 Formula 1 is the 59th season since the world championships began in 1950.

Challengers of the 2008 Formula One Season

The edition of 2008 Formula One is going to witness a total of 11 teams competing with each other. The teams are Mc Laren – Marcedes, Ferrari, BMW Sauber, Force India, Red Bull, Super Aguri, Williams, Toyota, Toro Rosso, Renault and Honda. Many of these teams are participating with new cars. Among them Ferrari, Honda, Toyota, Renault and few others have already launched their new cars.

The Schedule of the 2008 Formula One Season

Beginning at the month of march, the upcoming season will culminate in November with the end of Brazilian Grand Prix. A list of the 2008 racing calender is given below:

  • 23rd March - Malaysian Grand Prix
  • 6th April - Bahrain Grand Prix
  • 27th April - Spanish Grand Prix
  • 11th May - Turkish Grand Prix
  • 25th May - Monaco Grand Prix
  • 8th June - Canadian Grand Prix
  • 22nd June – French Grand Prix
  • 6th July – British Grand Prix
  • 20th July – German Grand Prix
  • 3rd August – Hungarian Grand Prix
  • 24th August – European Grand Prix
  • 7th September – Belgian Grand Prix
  • 14th September – Italian Grand Prix
  • 28th September - Singapore Grand Prix
  • 12th October – Japanese Grand Prix
  • 19th October – Chinese Grand Prix
  • 2nd November – Brazilian Grand Prix
Changes in Rules

2008 Formula One season is going to witness several changes in the technical and sporting rules of the game. To ensure maximum protection of the racers along with upgrading the standard of the races, these alterations and modifications of rules have been implemented in 2008.
