The Flag of the British Antarctic Territory was approved at the very time of the foundation of the territory. Earlier days when this territory was a significant division of Falkland Islands Dependency the similar flag was used there. The flag is a white edition of the Blue Union Flag in the province, blemished with the “Coat of Arms” of the British Antarctic Territory . Mostly the flag is found to be used at the British research bases among the Antarctic Territory. In addition to that this flag flies also at the head office and agencies of the British Antarctic Survey.
