In earlier times, it was rewriting Bible with proper explanation. 'Seven Brothers' was the first Finnish literature. Published in 1835, Aleksis Kivi created this masterpiece. Frans Eemil Sillanpaa was the first winner of Nobel Prize in Finnish Literature. Some world known pieces of Finland Literature were The Sultan's Renegade, Michael the Finn, The Egyptian are some great works of Finnish writers.
