The
Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration is a Swedish language business university located in
Vaasa and
Helsinki. This university is also known as Hanken. The
Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration was founded first in 1909 and then in the year 1980 it was expanded by adding up a campus in Vaasa. The numbers of students enrolled in the degree programs are about 2400 out of which 500 students study in Vaasa.
The research operations, which are taught in the
University of Hanken are of international standards and it maintains close links with the business world. The journey which Hanken crossed for about one hundred years was filled with many changes and alterations.
Hanken executes research programs with five competence centers and seven various departments. There are 131 faculty in the university most of them holding a doctoral degree.
