With clear waters and a diverse marine life Fiji is perfect for scuba diving. Fiji scuba diving provides an underwater voyage that brings one in contact with the huge rays,sharks, tarpins and a stunning underwater landscape.
Tropical rainforests along with fascinating beaches and a rich ancient culture makes up the Fiji. Hundreds of tourists visit the islands and Fiji scuba diving is one of the adventure sports people love to experience.

Different types of scuba diving in Fiji include boat, live-aboard,wreck and shore. Though Fiji's scuba diving is on throughout the year to get an abundance of marine life one should scuba dive between July and November. Best visibility is available in October.

There are a number of locations for Fiji scuba diving that the scuba divers can opt from. Photographers should not miss the E-6 in the Lomaivitis between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. The place is a haven for marine life like sharks, rays etc which can be found within 30 to 130 feet of water.

Scuba diving in Fiji can be carried out best in the Somosomo strait. Though the Great White Wall is blanketed with lavender coral it creates a spooky atmosphere by emitting a white gleam. Corals of brilliant colors and a diverse marine life consisting of golden damselfish and titan triggerfish etc.

Other places to scuba dive in Fiji are the islands of Mamanuca and Yasawa, the Astrolabe reef, the Beqa lagoon,the Rainbow reef and island resorts. The Mamanuca and Yasawa islands offer caves to move around in to the scuba divers. Both soft and hard corals along with an amazing marine life in these scuba diving spots provides an underwater world worth exploring.
