Fiji Trade

Fiji trade is a very important part of the economy of the country. Both import and export trade of Fiji are promising enough and contributes much to wards the growth of the economy of the country. Fiji has many governmental departments that look after the internal and external trade affairs and policies that govern the trade of Fiji. Fiji has a number of products that are exported to the other foreign countries through the international trade and through import, Fiji gets many products also.

Fiji trade depends on many industries. The sugar industry in Fiji is the main pillar in the trade of this country as it earns much foreign money for the country. Another material that is important in the trade of Fiji is the garment industry. The textile industry yields very good results in case of both internal and external trade. This industry is also very promising in the economy of Fiji. Travel and tourism is another part of the whole trade scenario in Fiji that results in a very high profit for the country.

Fiji has a number of Governmental organizations that take care of the foreign trade in Fiji. One of these departments is Ministry Of Foreign Affairs and External trade. It administers the foreign trade policies of the Fiji government. International trade is one of the main sources of the improvement on the part of Fiji. The main three aspects of the foreign trade or trade in general in Fiji are BTA with the neighboring countries, RTA or regional trade agreement and the last one is the multilateral trade that has increased the foreign trade in Fiji. Though these policies and trade agreements, Fiji is advancing fast in the field of trade and making its economy a strong one.
