Like those in any other country of the world, Estonia family is also the base of the society of Estonia. These families have been experiencing a changing character with the passage of time. Since the independence of the country, which came in the year 1991, the nature of the Estonia Family changed a lot. Initially, the young men of Estonia hardly considered about starting a family.
After a few years since the independence of the country, Estonian youth has moved a bit away from marriage. They mainly prefer cohabitation and sometimes even have children before getting officially married. The families in Estonia mainly follow a pattern. These families usually consist of the parents and children. The number of children in a family varies from one to three. The grandparents, however, live separately. The families gather together during several occasions and festivals like the birthday parties, Christmas and others.
The number of birth in Estonia Family had reached its nadir after the independence. This was a result of the lack of interest in the young people of getting into the family life occurred. The family life of Estonia does not allow the strangers. The close friends, however, are sometimes considered to be a part of the family.
