Voru or Vorumaa is one of the fifteen counties in Estonia. This county is located in the south-eastern part of Estonia. Voru shares land borders with several countries as well as by few counties of Estonia.

Russia forms border with Voru County on the eastern side, while the Valga County lies to the west of the Estonian County. Latvia lies to the south while Polva County lies to the north of Voru County in Estonia.

Voru, like most of the Estonian counties is divided into several municipalities. There are rural as well as urban municipalities in the Estonian county of Voru. The Governor is the head of the County Government in Voru. The Governor is elected for a period of five years.

There are not many tourist attractions in the small yet beautiful county of Voru. But the place is important for its location. Many other counties of Estonia can be reached from Voru. There are several activities that can be carried out in the nearby areas of Voru. The place calls for immense natural scenic beauty.
