Parnu, also called Parnumaa is one of the fifteen counties in Estonia. Located in the south-western part of Estonia, Parnu is in close proximity to the Gulf of Riga. There are other Estonian counties that form land borders with the county of Parnu, Estonia. There are Jarva and Viljandi counties to the east of Parnu, while Latvia lies to the south of the county.
