Sembel archaeological site, located in the outskirts of the Asmara city, is a history lover’s delight and if ancient civilizations arouse your curiosity, then this is the place to be at. It was probably a village with marvelous construction plans. The site can be viewed from an adjoining building, which was constructed by the Asmara National Museum. The site was discovered not long ago when the Eritrean government had ordered the construction of a housing complex in the region.
Transportation in and around Asmara city, the capital of Eritrea is comfortably developed to serve citizens and tourists. The Sembel Archaeological site, which is located to the southern borders of the city is easily accessible by one of these Eritrea conveyance modes.
