June 4, 2008 :  Presumptive nominee John McCain has expectedly clinched the South Dakota Republican Primary at Montana – June 3. Senator McCain has won 70% of the popular votes, leaving Ron Paul at a distant second place with 17% of the votes. It is believed that he will carry all the delegates from this state tied for the June 3 Primary.

Feb 9, 2008 :  Barack Obama swept the Nebraska Democratic Presidential Caucus- February 9by a margin of 36% votes over his rival Hillary Clinton.
