Balboa Park was established in San Diego in El Salvador in the year 1910. Balboa Park in El Salvador was named after the Spanish explorer, who first saw the Pacific Ocean. The park was restructured in the year 1915, when a true Spanish look was given to it. The architecture of the west gate of Balboa Park of El Salvador has an astonishing look. The theme of this gate is the joining of the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean by the Panama Canal. The building on the left of this gate holds the Museum of Man.
Balboa Park San Diego is constructed over an area of about 1000 acres of land and has got 15 museums as well as innumerable gardens and associations of arts and international culture. It also holds the most popular San Diego Zoo, which indeed attracts huge number of tourists. The museums of the park have several art treasures and animal species. Balboa Park is a drive of a few minutes from the down town of San Diego. The Old Globe Theater, which is located inside the park premises, is the largest arts organization of San Diego.
