El Salvador foreign relations with other neighboring Latin American countries and several European countries have enhanced in the recent years. El Salvador foreign relations have been strengthened due to many reasons. The country needs constant monetary support, financial assistance and military help. Thus the foreign relations of El Salvador with countries such as China, Russia and India have been developing in the recent years. It takes special assistance from the United States of America to enhance its economic conditions. El Salvador has joined hands with many international NGOs that have provided help to the earth quake victims of El Salvador. The ministry of foreign relations also accepted help from several countries that provided food and clothing to millions of El Salvadorians.

Due to the enhanced relationship with other foreign countries El Salvador is carrying out trade and commercial activities with them resulting in the elevation of th country. El Slvador is one of the active members of the CACM or the Central American Common Market, CASC or Central American Security Commission and Central American Parliament or CAM. EL Salvador is also one of the members of World Trade Organization or WTO and is openly prosecuting trade proposals for free. It has also joined hands with its neighboring countries in the pact of sustainable growth and development popularly known as "Conjunta Centroamerica".
