Necropolis of Abydos consists of the royal tomb of Osiris. Except for Scorpian, rest of the rulers of 0 Dynasty was buried in the Umm el- Qaab necropolis. All the tombs are believed to belong to the rulers of the same family. In the year 1988, tombs with many chambers were discovered at Abydos.The Temple of Seti in El Araba el Madfuna has an L shape. In the olden times, this temple consisted of many features like the ramp, two courts, two pylons, terrace and porticoes with pillars. The entrance to the temple is through the outer courts and storages made of mud brick.There are a total number of 42 stairs that lead to the upper floor. Rameses II decorated the rows and columns of the temple with lotus buds. At the backside, there are seven sanctuaries, which have been dedicated to Ptah, Seti I, Osiris, Horus and Isis.
