Sinai Peninsula

The Sinai Peninsula is the mass of land, which is the linking land between the two continents of Africa and Asia.
The Sinai Peninsula region occupies a total land area of 61,000 square miles. This is the land of the Bedouins, important because of religious and historical references to this place. The Bible has significant mention of the land of Sinai and so does Milton's Paradise Lost. It is not only Christianity, which is, associated with the land of Sinai, but also Judaism an Islam. There are significant evidences of life forms in the land of Sinai, dating back to thousands of years. Even fossils have been discovered in the deserts of Sinai. Sinai is surrounded by Suez Canal and the Gulf of Suez to the West, Mediterranean Sea to the North, the Red Sea to the south and Gulf of Aqaba and Negev Desert to the east.
