Prime Minister of Egypt

In 2004, Dr. Ahmed Nazif was appointed as the Prime Minister of Egypt. He took certain initiatives to improve the economic conditions of

the country. Many economic reforms were undertaken by him. He simplified many economic procedures in Egypt. He supported the privatization programs in the country. His far sightedness soon reaped its result. The steady growth in the economy of the country was marked under Ahmed Nazif.

President Mubarak in 2005 had once more assigned Ahmed Nazif to undertake further economic reforms for Egypt. The fields, on which stress was given, were education, health, housing and transport for the people of Egypt.

Before Ahmed Nazif became the Prime Minister, he served other duties too for the Government of Egypt. He was the Deputy Chairman of the Information and Decision Support Centre. He has experience of working in other Government institutions in Egypt. At one point of time, he was also associated with the Information Technology and Software Engineering. He had also worked with the private sector and occupied some important positions. The Internet Society of Egypt was co-founded by Ahmed Nazif.

Dr. Ahmed Nazif, the Prime Minister of Egypt is a graduate from Electronics and Communications Department. He completed his Masters from the same institution the University of Cairo. He completed his Ph. D from McGill University in Montreal in Canada.
