The Mediterranean Sea is situated in the northern part of Egypt. While in the south, lies Sudan. In the west of Egypt, Libya is located. Red Sea and Israel is situated in the east of the country. Due to the location of Egypt, from Greenwich Mean Time, Egypt time is ahead by two hours. The country also follows a procedure of daylight saving.
Egypt weather plays an important part in the
geography of Egypt. The weather condition in the country varies in the northern part than the southern part of the country. It receives little rainfall throughout the year. Summer in Egypt extends from May to October. From the months of November to April, Egypt experiences winter.
Nile River is the most important river of Egypt. Among the rivers of the world, it is the longest one. The river emerges in south from the mountains and it meets the Mediterranean Sea, situated in the north.
