The Youth of Ecuador is highly supported by different NGOs and Ecuadorian youth federations. These Ecuadorian youth federations represent the Youth of Ecuador and solve the problems related to them.
There are many Ecuadorian youth federations working for the development of youth. Some of these are as follows:
- AIESEC Ecuador
- Alberto Crdenas Davalos, Minister
- Asociacion Cristiana de Jovenes de Ecuador- ACJE
- Asociacion Nacional de Guilas Scouts del Ecuador- ANGSE
- Asociacion de Scouts del Ecuador- ASE
There are many other Ecuadorian youth federations that work for the youth related problems and guide them.
Some of these councils are also politically supported and even work for those political parties. The political support to the youth in Ecuador facilitated them and their federations with some legal rights. The legal rights for the youth are:
- Medical Examination of young persons: Industrial- ILO/1946
- Medical Examination of young persons: Non-industrial- ILO/1946
- Suppression of the traffic in persons and the exploitation of the exploitation of the prostitution of others-UN/1949
- Maternity protection-ILO/1952
- Abolition of slavery, the slave trade and Institutions and practices similar to slavery-UN/1956
There are many other legal rights for the youth that are given by the political groups in order to enhance their power. Providing power to the youth implies making their position in the society better.
Thus the youth in Ecuador enjoy a good life, provided to them by the Government of Ecuador.
