The home to the largest group of volcanoes, the Central East Pacific Rise region is prone to frequent earthquakes. This earthquake with a depth of 10 km has been located at 4.526S 106.017W. It is 2469 Km south and southwest of Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico. Since the quake had the epicenter in the sea, it did not result in any casualty or damage.
