A number of first-class airlines are based in Denmark which serve destinations throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. Since, all these airlines are world class airlines and provide the passengers with premium services therefore, there was very little onus on the government of Denmark to start a official airline on their own. However, very recently the government of Denmark has appointed partners Scandinavian Airlines and Star Alliance to become the official carrier of Denmark . These flights are especially favored by delegates and persons accompanying them on conferences because on such flights SAS and Star Alliance is providing travelers with special discount offers in business and economy class.
