The University of Copenhagen is the largest establishment of research works and advanced education in Denmark. The institution has student strength of 37,000 and the number of employees comes around to 7,000. One hundred different institutes, laboratories, centres, departments, museums form the core of the University of Copenhagen. Dignified professors, lecturers and other academic personnels carry out their work in a disciplined manner. The classes are held in different environments ranging from garden milieu to hi-tech laboratories and auditoriums. The University of Copenhagen has merged up with The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University and The Danish University of Pharmaceutical Sciences, on 1 st January 2007. These two institutions have now become the faculties of the prestigious Copenhagen University.
