Christmas in Denmark is a family festival, when the entire family gathers around the Christmas tree. On this day the Danes have a mouthwatering dinner of goose and dance around the Christmas tree. Some of the families even visit the church. It is also a day when the Danes keep fast. Special sweets are prepared in several houses and often, the employer arrange the Christmas lunch.
