The historical transition and development is well reflected in the life and behavior of the Czech Republic people. Czech Republic, approximately, has a total population of 10,228,744 and these Czech Republic people are distributed all over the Republic.

Of the total Czech Republic people, about 95 per cent are Czech Nationals but the country is also a home to several minority communities, including Germans, Poles, Slovaks, Gypsies, and Hungarians. The composition of Czech Republic people has altered from time to time with the change of the courses of History. Ever since the fall of the Communist regime, the Gypsies in the Czech Republic have been subjected to apparent discrimination. As far as religion is concerned, many Czech Republic people are not inclined to any religion at all. But in general Roman Catholicism is followed by more than 40 per cent of the total population and small minorities of Czech Republic people follow Hussite and the Orthodox Church.

The Czech Republic people are distinctly family oriented and the society of Czech Republic revolves around the family units. Generally polite in nature, the Czech Republic people maintain their privacy and are intimate with people they know.
