Vsetín district is spread over an area of 1,143 kilometers and has a small populace of 147,000 people. A part of the Zlín region, the district of Vsetín is drained by the River Vsetinska Becva and the River Roznovska Becva. The region is popular for the magnificent baroque architectural extravaganza that is preserved in the chateaus, churches and the castles of the region.
