Formerly known as the Czechoslovakia, Czech Republic is one of the most important countries in Central Europe. Although its is relatively a very new country, Czech Republic has managed to maintain a decent standard of living. With the presence of picturesque landscapes, employment opportunities and peaceful environment, living in Czech Republic can be compared to the living standards of other leading countries of Europe.
Living in Czech Republic is helped by the fact that the cost of basic needs is pretty low if compared to other European nations. However some non essential commodities like electronic goods, luxury items etc. are expensive.
The cost of transportation, which includes train, air and bus fares have gone up in recent years. The exchange rate has also sank but still, for a tourist or for a foreigner who wants to stay for a longer period of time, Czech Republic is a better option. The well equipped but cheaper accommodations, friendly people, growing industries and the current peaceful situation of the country attract them.
