The wonderfully maintained roads, the availability of latest cars and the wonderful country sides make driving in Czech a nice experience. However driving in Czech towns and cities may not be so pleasurable because of heavy traffics and strict traffic rules.
Driving in Czech without a license is strict no-no. A legitimate driving license issued in any countries belonging to the European Union is valid in any EU countries and in Czech Republic as well. People from other countries have to obtain a Czech License. A person driving in Czech Republic needs to possess a Green Card, which is actually an Insurance Certificate subjected to renewal after every three months. People under 18 years of age are not liable for legal driving and driving in an inebriated state can land the driver in jail.
Most of the vehicles in Czech Republic are run by petrol or diesel but the use of liquid petroleum gas is also gaining rapid popularity in the country.
