The historically eminent Czech Republic, the erstwhile Czechoslovakia has been the epicenter of politics since time immemorial. Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek is an able and worthy ODS candidate who was elected Prime Minster after winning a vote of confidence. Vaclav Havel happens to be the present president of the Czech Republic.
