A revolution is a movement that aims to bring about a radical change in the minds of the citizens of a certain country. It is destined to have far-reaching consequences in way of thought and action in all aspects of life.
The Cuban revolution was also successful in influencing the social and economic aspects of life in the country of Cuba. After the revolution the Marxist policies became very prominent in every sphere of life.
One of the most important events during the Cuban Revolution is the 26th of July Movement. This was a very influencing and powerful revolutionist organization created in the year 1959 to revolt against the regime of Fulgencio Batista in Cuba. Fidel Castro was the leader of the 26th of July Movement.
Castro still remains the president of the country and he is still regarded as the strongest leader of the masses.
