Profile: A Sikh by origin, Ravi Bopara is a young and talented player, whose recent 2007 ODI performances against Australia made him be selected for the 2007 World Cup event. A top-order batsman with skill, Ravi has been maturing with every performance, and is also looking to improve his bowling as well.

Ravi made his One-day International debut, and the only one till date, against Australia in 2007. In his only one-dayer, Ravi he has scored 7 (not-out) runs. He had also taken the crucial wicket of Mike Hussey in that match, which England went on to win, with a fabulous 92 runs victory. Ravi will be looking forward to better his statistics in the 2007 Cup event, as well as perform well, that would kick-start his international career, and takes him to another level of cricket.
