The magnificent West Indies nation of Trinidad and Tobago that forms a twin island paradise in the southern Caribbean Sea will be an important venue for the world's greatest cricketing event, the 9 th ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.

This wonderful island country of Trinidad and Tobago , with its mixed ethnicity of people, welcomes the World Cup with its spectacular, natural and stunning topographical beauty and unique culture. It has gifted to the world, Calypso music, the steel pan and the pre-Lenten Carnival festivities. Petroleum, natural gas and its growing tourism sector are the country's major sources of revenue.

Trinidad and Tobago will be hosting the Warm-up matches as well as the Group B Stage matches of the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup. The Warm-up matches would be held at Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Ground (University of the West Indies) in St.Augustine, replacing the un-finished Brian Lara Stadium; while the Group Stage matches will be held at its splendid Queen's Park Oval Stadium, in Port of Spain , that has a crowd capacity of 25,000 cricket fans.

The tickets to the event have been partly sold out and the remaining ones can be purchased in the third ticketing sales phase that begins from 1 February 2007. The tickets can be booked online too. One can apply for tickets to individual matches, select individual venues, apply for a Venue Combination to see all the matches played there, or can ‘Follow A Path' of any one of the 16 participating teams.

The Rates for the Single Match Tickets in Trinidad and Tobago for the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup - Warm-up matches and the Group Stage matches in the Group B category, that are offered under two Plans, namely, the Group Stage “Type A”* Plan or, the Group Stage “Type B”** Plan.:

General Points to remember while applying for tickets for the 2007 Cricket World Cup are:

Only one online order per person is permitted but each household can submit two applications provided each order is from a separate person in the same household.

For warm-up, Group Stage and Super 8 matches, applicants can order up to 20 tickets per match per application, and this also applies to the opening ceremony.

For the two Semi Finals and the World Cup Final the maximum limit is 4 tickets per application.
