The spectacular island nation of St. Lucia in the eastern Caribbean Sea, and forming part of the Windward Islands , will be a major venue for the world's greatest cricketing event, the 9 th ICC Cricket World Cup 2007

The magnificent volcanic island of St. Lucia , with its tropical climate and amazing mountainous topography, is a major tourism destination, boasting a drive-in volcano and breath-taking island scenery. The primary source of revenue however is its banana cultivation.

St. Lucia will be hosting the Group C Stage matches of the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup, and also its 2 nd Semi-Final, scheduled for play on Wednesday 25 th April, 2007. The matches will be held at its famous Beausejour Cricket Ground, at Gros Islet, that features an upgraded capacity of 20,000 cricket fans.

The tickets to the event have been partly sold out and the remaining ones can be purchased in the third ticketing sales phase that begins from 1 February 2007. The tickets can be booked online too. One can apply for tickets to individual matches, select individual venues, apply for a Venue Combination to see all the matches played there, or can �Follow A Path' of any one of the 16 participating teams.

The Rates for the Single Match tickets in St. Lucia for the Group Stage matches in the Group C category are offered under two Plans, namely, the Group Stage �Type A�* Plan or, the Group Stage �Type B�** Plan.; along with the Single Ticket Rates for the 2 nd Semi-Finals are shown below:

General Points to remember while applying for tickets for the 2007 Cricket World Cup are:

Only one online order per person is permitted but each household can submit two applications provided each order is from a separate person in the same household.

For warm-up, Group Stage and Super 8 matches, applicants can order up to 20 tickets per match per application, and this also applies to the opening ceremony.

For the two Semi Finals and the World Cup Final the maximum limit is 4 tickets per application.
