Guyana , the only member state of the Commonwealth of Nations to be located in South America , will also be an important venue for the world's greatest cricketing event, the 9 th ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.

The beautiful tropical country of Guyana , home to many rivers and waterfalls, harboring magnificent ecosystems and natural flora and fauna, is regarded a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. Also a popular tourist destination, the agriculture-based country of Guyana exports sugar as well as bauxite.

It will be hosting the Super-8 matches of the 2007 Cricket World Cup at its newest Providence Stadium, in Georgetown , where the expected crowd capacity is 16,000 people.

Points to remember while applying for tickets for the 2007 Cricket World Cup are:

Only one online order per person is permitted but each household can submit two applications provided each order is from a separate person in the same household.

For warm-up, Group Stage and Super 8 matches, applicants can order up to 20 tickets per match per application, and this also applies to the opening ceremony.

For the two Semi Finals and the World Cup Final the maximum limit is 4 tickets per application.
