Physical Map of Ukraine : the landscape of the Ukraine mostly comprises of flats criss-crossed by the Dniester, Dnieper, Southern Buh and the Seversky Donets rivers. Large sections of the country are stretches of plain land without a single tree around. If the land at all rises, it only does so to form plateaus. There are mountains in the land too, Mount Carpathian being the highest. Ukraine is also full of fertile plains. All the rivers in the country flow into the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

the country of Ukraine is located in the eastern region of the continent of Europe. It bordered by Russia in the East, the Black Sea in the south, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland in the west and Belarus in the north.
Climate of Ukraine : the predominant climatic condition in Ukraine is of the pleasantly continental kind. However, the weather conditions are not evenly dispersed through the land. The summers in Ukraine generally border on the warmer side of the barometer, while the winters are cold and wet or damp. Snowfall can also be experienced during the winter months. But neither rainfall nor snow fall is distributed evenly in Ukraine. In most cases, the west and the north receive more precipitation than the other regions in the country. The summers last between May and September, while the winters stretch from October to April.
Flag of Ukraine :The flag of Ukraine is extremely uncomplicated and lucid in design. It is a rectangular flag having no symbols on it; and is completely dominated by two colors - azure and golden yellow (top to bottom).
The two colors appear in two equal horizontal stripes. The color azure symbolizes the sky and the yellow stands for the lush fields.
Flora and Fauna of Ukraine : Ukraine being a well watered country, there are abundant varieties and species of flora populating the land. From aquatic plants to oaks to vascular plants, the diversity is large. Roses too are to be found in the country. Fauna of the land of Ukraine is an exotic collection too. Here is a list of names to illustrate: bisons, zebras, scottish ponies, buffalos and the unique and rare Przevalski's horse. Avian fauna in the country of Ukraine include both common and exotic species. Some of the names that are to be found around are pheasants, swans, cranes, ostriches and peacocks.
People of Ukraine : Ukraine houses quite a multicultural medley as far as its population is concerned. Though the Ukranians form a majority, there are others too like the Lemkos-Rusyns, Russians, Greeks, Belarusians, Poles, Moldovans, Germans, Gagauz, Romanians, Karaim, Armenians, Jews and also Tartars. The amalgam of all these races reflects in the cultures and the diversity of the country. However, the harmony in which they live is quite remarkable.
Arts, Culture and Music of Ukraine : in the culture of Ukraine can be found a commingling of cultural elements from its neighbors who lie to its east and its west. Just in case you didn't know it, the Easter egg was born in Ukraine; in fact, the tradition of making of Easter Eggs precedes the country's Christian tradition. The most famous of the types of music originating in Ukraine is called the "Capella", which is performed by a single singer and has a collective chorus of two or more persons. Most songs are sung to the accompaniment of the instrument called "Bandura" - a stringed instrument. Ukraine has plenty of traditional dances. Grachanyky, Metelitsya, Kozak and Chabarashka are the names of a few.
Economy of Ukraine : the economy of the Ukraine is mainly supported by its mining and agricultural industry. Among the list of the things that it exports are metals of different types like steel, petroleum and its by-products, transport equipment, machinery, chemicals, timber and processed packaged food. The natural mineral resources include sulfur, mercury, iron ore, nickel, coal, kaolin, manganese, magnesium, natural gas, titanium, oil, graphite and salt.
