The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is situated adjoining the borderline of three major states especially with China adjacent to the Yalu River, Russia along the Tumen River and South Korea near to DMZ.The Yellow sea and the Korea Bay cover the region from the western coast and the Sea of Japan cover from the eastern coast region. The terrains are consistent with low-lying mountains divided by the narrow valley, where a small portion is used for cultivation purpose. The eastern side is filled with Rocky Mountains ascending from the water level, which carry some of the major waterways.
