INTRODUCTION
Guernsey is a part of the British crown empire within the English Channel along the coastal region of Normandy. The place is significantly divided into 10 Parishes. Today Guernsey stands as an independent island that was once separated from other peninsular districts in Continental Europe from about 6000 BC. The living history of Guernsey accounts to the Neolithic Man along with the primitive manmade structure in the European territory.

Guernsey is nestled in the Western Europe, which is a wonderful island along the English Channel, lying towards the northwest part of the France.
PHYSICAL MAP OF GUERNSEY
Guernsey is constituted of two main geographical regions that cover a total land space of about 25 square miles. The regions are:
- The Haut Pas, a high lying southern plateau,
- The Bas Pas, a sandy northern region that is low-lying.
The Haut Pas is known for its rustic countryside whereas the area of Bas Pas is more modern and mechanized with several residential and manufacturing units settled here.
The adjacent islands of Alderney, Herm, Sark, along with Guernsey encompasses over the land space with nearly 30 square mile, that stretches along with a coastline that widens to about 30 miles.
