PEOPLE OF CUBA

The Caribbean country of Cuba is filled with diverse, dynamic and talented population. FLAG OF CUBA

The flag of Cuba was officially accepted during the month of May 20, 1902. The Cuba flag is designed with three solid colors horizontal stripes in blue color, which denotes the sea engulfing the island of Cuba. The two white horizontal stripes represent the meaning of purity. Nestled on these stripes is a red triangle that stands for every drop of blood shed by martyr for the sake of the nation. A white star within this red triangle basically signifies the country's independence.
