The James Mc Donnell Planetarium
In this portion of science center, visitors can enjoy numerous interactive exhibits and educational programs in a space station environment. Here one can experience the simulation of a space launch. One is transported by an elevator called ‘star shuttle' to the facility's two upper levels collectively called the Boeing Space Station. In the SkyBay, over 9,000 twinkling stars and glowing planets can be seen slowly moving across the new 80 sq. ft. dome.
The Main Building
The Main Building houses the Omnimax, now called IMAX Dome, theater. An overpass connecting the two buildings provides an insight into bridges, highways and radar guns.
